Experience a new standard in metallic facade cladding

The new range offers ultimate design freedom to architects who are looking for a metal look facade, but with all the advantages of rock to perfectly combine aesthetics with all functional requirements such as fire resilience, durability, low maintenance and sustainability. The non-combustible A2 rated Rockpanel Metals ticks all the boxes – and more.

Rockpanel Metals cladding is produced from compressed natural basalt, a sustainable and readily available volcanic rock from which all Rockpanel products derive their unique properties. The products combine the advantages of stone and the workability of wood.

Two sub-ranges: Elemental and Advanced

The new Rockpanel Metals range consists of two sub-ranges. The Elemental Metals line includes the main precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum and other well-known metals such as aluminium, steel and copper. The Advanced Metals line consists of expressive new designs which give your facade a distinctive look. Thanks to advanced technology, they have an exceptional worn finish that lasts for decades. These rustic designs are full of character. All Metals designs are non-directional, minimising cutting waste and preventing mounting mistakes.

Key benefits of Rockpanel Metals

Rockpanel Metals boards are robust yet flexible – it is possible to perforate or engrave the facade boards. As they are insensitive to moisture, no treatment afterwards is needed. In addition, the panel is dimensionally stable and very durable. The boards have an officially confirmed lifetime of 50 years. At the end of the building life, they can be demounted and fully recycled into new high-quality stone wool products.

The A2 boards meet the most stringent fire regulations (Euroclass A2-s1,d0 – non-combustible). Just like stone, they have an extremely high melting point (1000°C). Several fixing options are available, including an invisible adhesive fixing and concealed fixing, all covered by the ETA of Rockpanel.
